Mapua rode on a monster game by reigning MVP Allwell Oraeme, and a strong fourth quarter effort by Andrew Estrella as it downed Lyceum of the Philippines University, 90-75, in the NCAA Season 92 Men’s Basketball Division on Tuesday, at the FilOil Flying V Arena, San Juan.

The win paved the way for the Cardinals to keep its stranglehold of the No. 4 spot with a 7-4 win-loss card.

Oraeme bulldozed his way to a double-double effort of 27 points, 25 rebounds, and four blocks to lead all scorers in Mapua.

Veteran Andrew Estrella fired all his 12 points in the final period that helped the Cardinals clinch the win.

Meanwhile, the Pirates skidded to their 5-6 win-loss tally despite Wilson Baltazar’s 17 markers.
